By skyforbes As expected, it was nothing too special. Just another dumb fun monster romp like the first. Don't consider these movies any special but they're still enjoyable. That said, they definitely can't beat Trollhunter (2010).
And the movie does offer an explanation how knights managed to kill the Mountain King's family as revealed in the first film. Because I was thinking "How did they expose them to sunlight?"
The answer was silver swords drenched in holy water.
