Another Halloween, another round of fun books with friendly witches, ghosts, and beasties.
I am determined to have a good Halloween and post what I can about relevant books. Board books definitely have piled on the entertainment, ensuring that even the youngest kids can have fun.
Baby nephew agreed to provide his two cents: “Again” and “start from the beginning”. He liked both of these board books and wanted to make sure I read them properly.
Where’s the Witch?: (An Interactive, Sensory Lift-the-Flap Book with Felt Flaps and a Mirror for Babies & Toddlers. Halloween Friends Include a Vampire, Skeleton, & Spider.) by Ingela P Arrhenius
It is Halloween and time to find all the ghoulies and ghosties. Where is the witch? The skeleton? And the vampire? This sensory book hides them behind felt flaps, encouraging the reader to lift and remark. There’s even a mirror at the end so that one Halloween creature isn’t forgotten: you, the reader, ideally dressed in a costume.
