My least favorite Dragon Age game, sure, as most previous games decisions were lost somewhere in its development Hell.
But as a stand alone action RPG it's a solid 8 for me. I picked it up again to try Mage & before I knew it got pulled into a 2nd run.
The combat, the animations, the Dragon's Dogma 2 level character creator & gorgeous environments are all top notch, imo. Enough for me to look past its live service Marvel tone & enjoy it for what it is.
Do I wish I could have legit evil dialogue & evil playthrough? Sure. But I have Baldur's Gate 3 to scratch that itch.
Ironic considering Origins was a spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate 2.
Time is a flat circle.
