I live in the same house as him, my mom, and my sister in Delaware. I got kicked off of their medicaid back in 2023 for a different job because I made too much money. I’ve been filing taxes independently and now I receive my own health insurance from my new job. They were able to keep their benefits without any issues since then until now.
I called his case worker and they were unable to do anything from their end, and they directed me to reach out to social services themselves, which I did. They said that because I live in the same physical house as them, we are considered one household. Is this normal? Why wasn’t this an issue last year?
If I give them my paystubs, will they lose their benefits? Should I change my address? HELP.
