Voice recognition really is incredible in this app

I had a major surgery on my arm about a month ago, and I had to use voice dictation in order to communicate on various apps, because it was just much easier than typing with my left arm. And I noticed that the ChatGPT app voice dictation is incredibly effective, it's almost perfect. Even made-up words, it recognises perfectly, it knows the punctuation, it knows the context in which you're using a word, it's incredible. However, the speech recognition apps built into phone keyboards are absolute dogshit, borderline unusable. So, often if I want to write out something long, I go into ChatGPT, and I write it using the little microphone button, and then I copy and paste it into whatever app I'm using. Which is annoying, but the ChatGPT voice recognition is just that much better, and I think it doesn't really get enough attention for that.

It's also the thing that really sets ChatGPT apart to me. I found that Grok is a little bit more sophisticated in terms of its answers, but it's just so much more convenient to be able to speak to ChatGPT normally, like I'm having a real conversation, without even having to look at my phone to check that it's getting it right, that there's no contest. The ChatGPT app is just much better. And I'm surprised that there is so little competition to try and equal it. I know that Gemini also has voice recognition, but it is nowhere near as good. You have to speak continuously without stopping for even a moment or it will immediately stop listening and search what you've said.

And yes, I wrote this with GPT.
