Personally, I think they are groundbreaking technologically and have a great narrative and characters. CGI and motion capture are very under-appreciated tools, and these films are great examples of them being used to great effect.
But what does everyone else think? Which film do you think is the best so far, and which one do you think is the weakest? Do you think they are overhyped or underrated? Where would you like to see the franchise go from here?
