I’ve been thinking about this:
Imagine if, from the moment a person is born, we continuously record everything about them—their actions, speech, appearance, thoughts (if possible), decisions, mistakes, relationships, emotions, how they behave and respond to situations, everything—24/7, from birth to death.
Imagine if, from the moment a person is born, we continuously record everything about them—their actions, speech, appearance, thoughts (if possible), decisions, mistakes, relationships, emotions, how they behave and respond to situations, everything—24/7, from birth to death.
Then we feed all that data into an AI and train it to simulate that person.
Wouldn’t that AI basically become that person again?
Like, if someone who knew them spoke to the AI, it would feel exactly like talking to the same person—same tone, attitude, memories, reasoning patterns, etc.
Would that mean the person is “reborn” digitally?
Or would it just be an imitation—a perfect copy, but without real consciousness?
