Personally, I'd go with:
Friday the 13th (PS4) – honestly, this ultraviolent game of multplayer hide and seek is a better way to experience the Jason Voorhees IP than revisiting any of the 12 movies. Well, it was before they took the online servers down…
The Warriors (PS2) – the detail Rockstar put into adapting this game was insane. I honestly wish they'd make a direct sequel to the movie with an original concept. Actually more video games should do that with dormant series begging for a sequel…
Batman (NES) – this might be a nostalgia play for me. Aside from the cut scenes it has virtually nothing to do with the 1989 film but the incredible soundtrack (which also borrows very little from Danny Elfman's) and unique gameplay make it a standout
Honorable mentions: Spider-Man (PS2), Aladdin (SEGA), Star Wars: Battlefront II (PS4), The Thing (PS2), Judge Dredd (SEGA), and Goonies II (NES)
What do you think should be considered the 4 best officially licensed movie tie-in video games?
