By skyforbes I've been a $20 subscriber for over a year now and ChatGPT as of idk maybe the start of this month has become absolutely useless now, and it includes ads. Is there a way to get back to the old version of ChatGPT, idk like from September to November of this year? I even briefly attempted to upgrade to the $200 version and it's the same, so it's definitely not a membership level thing. GPT 5.1 was the one I was using and it was great until now.
Should I look to switch to Grok, Claude, or Gemini instead?
No non-serious answers. I've been using ChatGPT to help me with a personal project and now it's basically just a google search synthesizer which makes it useless (as opposed to previously in which it would do some analytics/provide advice) . And I'm falling behind.
