When I Asked ChatGPT Who Was The(Most) Dominant Group On the Planet

Power follows capital, not color — in a sense

I’ll be real with you.

The “When I Asked ChatGPT” series is fun to write about, but can be controversial for several reasons, namely, it is artificial intelligence I am questioning, and the answers may not be palatable to certain groups. This time, I became bolder, asking ChatGPT who was the dominant group on this planet, and the answer was both obvious and multilayered.

The myth of a single empire

Me: I have a serious question to ask, and I ask this with sensitivity and care and with curiosity. Which group of people on this planet do you consider the most dominating and in complete power and control?

ChatGPT: If we’re talking about global dominance and control in the broadest sense — political, economic, cultural, and technological — then no single ethnic, national, or religious group holds absolute power. Power is fragmented and constantly shifting. However, some institutions and alliances exert disproportionate influence over how the world functions.

Yes, ChatGPT is “artificial intelligence”, however, I agree with this statement.
