Which model is actually best at visual formatting (menus, PDFs, layout)?

I work in the food/hospitality space and I use AI to turn my notes into high-end menus — not just the writing, but the actual visual formatting (HTML, CSS, PDF layout, spacing, hierarchy, all of it).

Claude Opus has given me the best results so far, but it still takes a lot of revision and it’s slow. GPT 5.1 and Gemini haven’t matched its visual eye.

Is there any model — big or small — that genuinely beats Claude for design/layout output? Or even just handles structured formatting faster and with fewer corrections?

Would love recommendations from anyone doing real document-design work with AI.

Thank you!!
