For me, Star Wars would be much darker if we saw the story through the villain’s eyes—especially Palpatine, who’s more evil than Vader. Anakin starts as a hero but becomes Vader, of course, and in Revenge of the Sith we already get glimpses of his perspective (killing the innocent younglings 😭, taking down my boy Mace Windu, and more). Even Dooku, while a little evil, can’t compare to Palpatine’s manipulation—posing as different people and building trust. Though Vader was definitely scary at times. Seeing the saga from the villains’ POV would make the Jedi and Padawans seem less heroic, and the Sith’s choices feel chillingly understandable—suddenly, their ambitions, fears, and struggles would drive the story instead of just the heroes’ actions
