Why are actors rarely ever bad in movies?

Hear me out! Obviously, I’ve seen bad film performances here and there, but compared to other Hollywood creative fields, I see far less bad performances from actors. Each year, we see plenty of badly-edited, badly-written, badly-directed movies, but in comparison, badly-acted movies are far less common. Even in disappointing movies like Suicide Squad, Batman v. Superman, Death of a Unicorn and Mickey17, a common sentiment you hear is ‘but the acting was pretty good.’ Why is this?
