Each year, we see plenty of badly-edited, badly-written, badly-directed movies, but in comparison, badly-acted movies are far less common. Even in disappointing movies like Suicide Squad, Batman v. Superman, Death of a Unicorn and Mickey17, a common sentiment you hear is ‘but the acting was pretty good.’ Why is this?
