By skyforbes This has likely been posted before – but why are people infatuated with arch? Like I spent 5 hours last night trying to figure out how the heck to partition an HDD from scratch with parted and then finally got a basic install with XFCE/Openbox, just why? I get the whole "Control" aspect and yeah, not have a bunch of random packages makes it nice and snappy, but why can't they have a GUI installer? Having a dropdown or checkboxes to choose what packages to install just…. Whatever. Please tell me if you think that it's just *not* possible or something.
