Had an alert fire for ULTA and saw a short set up on the 5min around 10am. I took it, but messed up the share size and took 20x the shares I wanted to vs the share price. Instant stop out with bracket order as it pushed the last high. Wait a minute, see it setup again at 592 and this time pull the stop and think I'll just play the same amount and at least get my money back. Nope up then back down and I miss my freaking break-even for the day point with the spread as my limit is 585 so then wait again, but now it's trending up but tightening and teases me it'll dump before it of course breaks out and keeps going to 611.
So many times to cut the trade breakeven though still with the original loss and a few more times for 30-50% but instead I wait it out watch till noon when I get out at 605.
Fucking dumb, wrong size trying to get back lost money and pulling the stop not cutting it. Same shit everytime I hurt my account, except usually over leveraged on purpose. Why do you think some of us never learn at this game? I've been in it since 2021 too. 🤦
