Have you ever noticed this?
Run1 feels sharp.
Run3 feels a bit softer.
Run7 suddenly sounds like a completely different person.
But nothing changed — not the model, not the prompt.
What actually changed was the structure.
When tone, logic, and behavior sit in the same block, the model slowly averages them into a single voice.
The layers flatten.
The edges fade.
And the output drifts into a new personality — even though you didn’t touch the words.
It’s not “worse.”
But it’s definitely different.
Tomorrow, I’ll talk about how to stop this drift before it starts.
