Why Gemini does not automatically access all data available to Google?

I attempted to use the Pro version of Gemini to conduct a thorough market research of all Food & Beverage (F&B) businesses—including restaurants, pubs, cafés, bakeries, and eateries—within my city.

I specifically instructed Gemini to access and analyze all available Google data (Google Searches, Google Maps, Google Reviews, YouTube, etc.) to determine:

  • Customer Demographics and Traffic Patterns
  • Peak Business/Busy Hours

Finally, the goal was to identify potential business opportunities, such as recommending underserved areas (e.g., a densely populated office cluster lacking a decent café) or suggesting a location strategy like opening a restaurant next to a crowded restaurant to capture spillover customers.

However, Google Gemini failed to perform even the most basic tasks. It couldn't execute a proper Google Maps search, missing restaurants with over 4,000 reviews!
