why is google ai studio typing the code and not changing it?

This is very annoying and it's happening in different projects I'm creating. When I ask anything to Gemini, it types out the code but it's not updating it, i have to manually do it everytime. It's very annoying and I cannot find a solution. I could repeat or ask different times to fix it or change it, but it won't do it. How did you solve this? Thanks
