By skyforbes Like take for example next Avengers Film, I am expecting some cool action sequences, cameos, character crossovers, bit of comedy, some cool moments from comics, maybe some callbacks, a decent enough arc. And if gives me that…it’s a masterpiece for me.
Same thing applied to previous Avengers films, or all comic book films to extent. Like I am going to Deadpool 3 for some good popcorn time, I am not expecting some deep character study to begin with.
But people often overly analyse these films or genres.
I usually have three word expectations chart in mind and I judge it on that metric.
Like Upcoming Avatar 3 should be…Visually Mindblowing, engaging simple arcs and cool action sequences.
If I needed some convoluted characters, I would watch David Fincher film and judge it on that metric.
Am I making sense?
