Words I Pretended To Understand On TikTok So No One Would Think I’m Old

It’s not like I’m that old. I’m online pretty much every day in some form or another. And yet, I still have to pretend to understand plenty of vocabulary that make no sense to me — mostly TikTok words.

I laugh and use them like everybody else, but I don’t get why. Most of these words are stupid and they’re all weird:

1. Silent repost

Wouldn’t this just be a repost? It doesn’t make a lot of sense. However, I understand it’s done as a way to kind of troll people and if that’s the case, I like it anyway.

2. Skibidi

It’s giant heads popping out of toilets, I get it. I just don’t get why we’re making it a thing. What’s so impressive about this that we adopt it as a word we want to use over and over?

I don’t know, maybe you do.

3. Gyatt

I just realized, is this short for goddamn? Ok.

Never mind, I kind of like this one.

4. Ohio core

I don’t understand why we’re suddenly making fun people from Ohio. It hardly seems fair.
