The neighbors do not hinder the movie because they are constantly at odds – even indirectly – with Clark, who shoots ice from the eaves trough into their stereo. Cousin Eddie is incredible as a human wrecking ball, and the squirrel, gas explosion and SWAT raid rocket it into oblivion as a holiday essential.
